The cost of training for three days covers operation, routine maintenance and strip down to component level, suitable for individuals who wish to create their own hovercraft from the Hov Pod SPX LM hull will be refunded provided that customers purchase the Hov Pod SPX LM within 6 months from the date of their training course. The Hov Pod SPX LM comprises of Hov Pod Hull, manufactured from HDPE, in a choice of colour. The unique Hov Pod SPX is manufactured from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), which is lightweight, extremely buoyant, yet far stronger & more impact resistant than brittle glass fibre (GRP). It is also very easy to modify. Rather than a kit, the Hov Pod SPX LM is a completed hovercraft without engine for those who wish to fit their own engine. It contains drive frame, fan assembly, and full skirt set.

Hov Pod enjoyed a record month for sales in January 2010, and are now more able to respond to peaks in demand due to the new HDPE manufacturing process.
